COURSE OVERVIEW

This course qualifies participants as a Mental Health Aider as accredited by Mental Health First Aid England. Participants will gain:- 

• An indepth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing.
• Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.
• Confidence to reassure and support a person in distress.
• Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support.

All participants completing the two days receive the MHFA manual, a wallet-sized booklet of the MHFA action plan and the MHFA certificate.
