Mental Health First Aid


1. Mental Health First Aid 2 day course

We deliver live online or in-person training.


The course is an indepth look at mental health, the factors that trigger mental ill health and the practical skills needed. It also builds confidence to reassure and support someone who may be experiencing mental ill health.


The course develops the skills and confidence to create a positive mental health culture in the workplace.


Workplace course

Delivered for your organisation, up to 16 employees £2,300 per course

As a not-for-profit, there is no VAT on prices


Open course

Book individual places on our open courses £279 per person

Our course qualifies participants as a Mental Health First Aider as accredited by Mental Health First Aid England. Participants will gain:- 


  • An indepth understanding of mental health and the factors that affect wellbeing.
  • Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.
  • Confidence to reassure and support a person in distress.
  • Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support.

Everyone completing receives the MHFA manual, a wallet-sized booklet of the MHFA action plan and the MHFA certificate.


All our MHFA courses are listed on our events page and usually take place in Cambridge and Stevenage.

2. MHFA Champions course 

A shorter online or one day course that focuses mainly on anxiety, depression and stress. It will give you the skills to spot the signs and support positive wellbeing.


This is best suited for managers and HR professionals. . This is for organisations only, up to 16 staff, we do not offer this course to individuals.


Everyone completing the course receives a manual and certificate of attendance.


Delivered into your organisation for up to 16 employees £1,450 per course

As a not-for-profit, there is no VAT chargeable



3. Wellbeing Practitioners Network 

For staff or colleagues who completed their MHFA or have taken on the role of Wellbeing Lead/Champion at work. We offer facilitated practitioner meetings providing professional support, continued learning and sharing of best practices.


The meetings skillfully embed a warm and supportive learning environment with the opportunity to have guest speakers. We also can help you to advertise and manage the meetings ready for a carefully planned handover for you to continue the network. 


The network provides: -

  • mutual support, sharing best practice and learning
  • personal and professional development
  • develop expertise for the organisation
