Life Coaching programme May 2011

Illuminate is a Cambridge based charity that provides access to life coaching tools to the unemployed or those on a limited income. We do this through group and 1-2-1 work as funding permits.

During May 2011, Illuminate will be running a programme at Cambridge Women’s Resource Centre that has been funded by Cambridge County Council’s Learners Development Fund.

The programme will consist of 4 days group work to include formal training, small group work, discussion and activities.

This will take place on Tues 3rd, 10th, 17th and 23rd May 2011 (full days 9.30am to 3.30pm) at CWRC.

You will take away from this programme a range of coaching tools and personal development that you can use to bring about change in your life. You will meet other like minded women and find a supportive and safe place. You may find useful contacts or make friends within the group. The process will be informal and friendly but designed to be a little challenging. You will finish the programme feeling more confident about yourself, have a better understanding of what is important to you and how to access your motivation. You will develop your communication skills, overcome limitations and plan how you are going to make your aims and desires happen.

If you are interested in this opportunity, you will need to;

  • Ensure you can attend all 4 days (this is a funding requirement)
  • Ensure you are ready to make change in some aspect of your life and are able to capture what you wish to gain from the experience
  • Apply for this programme by completing the short selection form
  • Be prepared to invest in yourself by completing the work and activities in between formal sessions, so that you gain most out of this experience
  • Be prepared to evaluate your progress both during, on completion and beyond the programme
  • Be comfortable working in a group setting
  • Be open and willing to learn and take action
